The MUT Challenge by UTMB 2026 takes place on 31 May 2026 in George, Western Cape, South Africa, as part of the Mountain Ultra Trail (MUT) by UTMB World Series. This race is one of the shorter yet highly competitive distances within the MUT festival, attracting trail runners seeking a dynamic and scenic challenge. Runners experience a combination of steep ascents, flowing forest trails, and urban transitions before reaching the finish line.
