The 2025 World Games

The 2025 World Games will be held in Chengdu, China, from 7 to 17 August. It will feature around 5,000 participants from over 100 countries. Athletes will compete in 253 events across 34 non-Olympic sports. New sports include cheerleading, flag football, and para freediving. The Games will use existing venues, focusing on sustainability and inclusion.
